Instructions for storage and use of lithium batteries for walkie-talkies and repeaters

A. Lithium battery storage instructions

1. Lithium-ion batteries should be stored in a relaxed, dry, ventilated environment, away from fires and high temperatures.

Battery storage temperature must be in the range of-10 °C ~ 45 °C, 65 ± 20% Rh.

2. Storage voltage and power: voltage is ~ (standard voltage system); power is 30%-70%

3. Long-term storage batteries (over three months) shall be placed in an environment with a temperature of 23 ± 5 °C and a humidity of 65 ± 20% Rh.

4. Battery should be stored according to storage requirements, every 3 months for a complete charge and discharge, and recharge to 70% power.

5. Do not transport the battery when the ambient temperature is higher than 65 ℃.

B. Lithium battery instruction

1. Use a special charger or charge the whole machine, do not use the modified or damaged charger. The use of high current goods high voltage charging will likely cause the charge and discharge performance, mechanical properties, and safety performance of the battery cell, and may lead to heating, leakage, or bulging.

2. Li-ion battery must be charged from 0 °C to 45 °C. Beyond this temperature range, battery performance and life will be reduced; there are bulging and other problems.

3. Li-ion battery must be discharged at ambient temperature from-10 °C to 50 °C.

4. It should be noted that during the long-term unused period (more than 3 months), the battery may be in a certain over-discharge state because of its self-discharge characteristics. To prevent the occurrence of over-discharge, the battery should be charged regularly, and its voltage should be maintained between 3.7V and 3.9V. Over-discharge will lead to the loss of cell performance and battery function.

C. Attention

1. Please don't put the battery in water or get it wet!

2. It is forbidden to charge the battery under fire or extremely hot conditions! Do not use or store batteries near heat sources (such as fire or heaters)! If the battery leaks or smells, remove it from near the open fire immediately.

3. When there are problems such as bulging and battery leakage, it should be stopped immediately.

4. Do not connect the battery directly to the wall socket or car-mounted cigarette socket!

5. Do not throw the battery into the fire or heat the battery!

6. It is forbidden to short-circuit the positive and negative electrodes of the battery with wires or other metal objects, and it is forbidden to transport or store the battery with necklaces, hairpins, or other metal objects.

7. It is forbidden to pierce the battery shell with nails or other sharp objects and no hammering or stepping on the battery.

8. It is forbidden to hit, throw or cause the battery to be mechanically vibrated.

9. It is forbidden to decompose the battery in any way!

10. It is forbidden to put the battery in the microwave oven or pressure vessel!

11. It is forbidden to use in combination with primary batteries (such as dry batteries) or batteries of different capacities, models, and varieties.

12. Do not use it if the battery gives off a bad smell, heat, deformation, discoloration, or any other abnormal phenomenon. If the battery is in use or charging, remove it from the appliance or charger immediately and stop using it.
